Scarlett crowned as Queen of Slobberfest!

Queen of Slobberfest - reigning for a day is hard work!
We weren’t sure what we were going to find today when we headed down to Queen St E to the beaches area to Slobberfest, but figure with a name like that, there’s gotta be fun to be had!
As we approached the crowed of tents, dogs, and people at the foot of Lee Ave on the boardwalk, we hear a booming voice in the boathouse announcing “And the votes are tallied! The Queen of Slobberfest 2011 is!!!!!!! Scarlett!!” Not quite sure how this was voted but regardless, it felt festive and fun.
While the weather didn’t quite cooperate (foggy and damp), there was definitely a showing of dog parents with their furry children (and real children in tow) with some really fun booths of fantastic dog goodies and services. Here are some highlights and friends we met:
